Broken Crystal, what a shame.
This poor watch fell to the ground and busted its 'glass.' Actually plastic, it broke in a few places. It's a nice Mido bumper automatic, but can only stand so much bumping. Fortunately, and somewhat surprisingly, the balance staff was ok; the watch still runs perfectly. When this sort of thing happens, unless you are skilled at watches, it's time to visit the local watchmaker. Prices may vary. It's a cheap piece of plastic. Just look around for something reasonable. I have paid (mistakenly) up to $35 U.S. dollars for a crystal install, and have been quoted $50 ! Most of the time now I can get it for $15-18.
