Bulova Watch
A woman was looking through this website and came across this watch. I received an email asking if I wanted to sell it. The watch was not for sale, but the woman really wanted it. I went ahead and sold it to her. A few months later, I receive an email from the person who received this as a gift, reprinted below with his permission. Watches seem to have a significant symbolic place in the lives of many people, but beyond this I can't explain. Email below.

Hi Alan my name is Robert, I am a friend of Jane . I just wanted to tell you the story about the watch. When I opened up the gift Jane gave me I was so surprized. I looked at the watch and for the moment I wondered where Jane found this watch I thought it was my dads. This watch is the like the watch he gave me. My mother gave my father the same watch over sixty years ago. My dad gave me the watch for one of my bithdays. I only wore the watch on special occasions because it was so old. My mother and father always remarked how nice the watch looked on me and it made them feel good to see me enjoy wareing it. To this day I donot know what happened to the watch I was sick when I realized I could not find it. My dad since passed away and when I am in my mothers company she some times asks why I don't ware my dads watch any more. I could not tell her the watch was missing. Everytime she asked about the watch I said I will ware it next time I see her. I can't wait to ware this watch the next time I am with my mother. When I ware this watch now it will remind me of my dad and my most special friend Jane. I told Jane I would never of thought to try and find this watch the way she did. This indeed was a special gift that will be remembered forever.
