This is the first Rolex watch I've owned, and it's from 1967. I was three years old when this watch was made. I will show pictures here on many different straps and bracelets. Dial has lightly and evenly aged luminous material. Watch recently serviced, and runs very well.

Earlier dial, with '200 m' preceding '660 ft.' Later dial had the reverse orientation. Explanations include 1) a larger number first looks better, and 2) measurement in feet is easiest to understand, for American market. But these are just explanations.
Grey and black NATO strap. All pics on this page are digitally acquired, except this one.
Grey 'Bambi' strap, from Japan above and below.
The 5513 Submariner has a thick, nicely domed crystal.
The watch was originally fitted to the heavy steel bracelet, apparently the first watch ever to have such an 'integrated' bracelet with the case. In spite of having worn it on many different straps, I do believe the watch looks and feels best on the steel. Here are many more pictures of the bracelet.
